When and how much?

  • Contestants must submit the application by and including 25 October 2026.
  • For a soloist: 1 composition — UAH 1,300; 2 compositions — UAH 1,900.
  • For a duet participant: 1 composition — UAH 800 per person; 2 compositions — UAH 1,300 per person.
  • For a trio participant: 1 composition — UAH 700 per person; 2 compositions — UAH 1,100 per person.
  • For participants in instrumental ensembles of 4 or more members: 1 composition — UAH 500 per person; 2 compositions — UAH 700 per person.

What should participants perform?

  • The competition is instrumental, not multi-genre.
  • Instrument categories: folk instruments (bandura, accordion, guitar, and others); percussion instruments (drum kit—soloists only); keyboard instruments (piano or digital piano); and string instruments (bowed strings).
  • The participant freely chooses the competition work, which must correspond to the age category. Works by Russian authors are not accepted for participation.
  • The work is performed live, from memory, without a backing track, with an instrumental backing track, or accompanied by a concertmaster; the competition performance lasts up to 7 minutes.

How are performances judged?

  • Assessment covers performing mastery, artistic level and musical expressiveness, stage culture and artistry, and technical features for certain instruments.
